Not every parking spot has a tap or a drain.
Not every parking spot has a tap or a drain. Condo garages, apartment lots and parking pads with strict rules about runoff make a hose wash impossible. For residents of Brampton in that situation, we use rinseless and waterless products, which clean the paint using a small amount of water or spray lubricant and a stack of clean towels.
The two methods differ. A rinseless wash uses a bucket of diluted product and wet microfibre towels to lift grime, then a dry towel to finish. A waterless wash is a spray-on lubricant that encapsulates light dust, wiped off panel by panel. We choose based on how dirty the car is, because heavy mud and salt need the rinseless route.
The key is using lots of towels, flipping them often, and never dragging dirt across the paint. That is why we say the towel count is the method. Residents near Northgate appreciate that it is quiet, there is no runoff, and nothing drips onto neighbours' cars, which keeps the building happy. Residents also like not needing a hose.
A rinseless wash leaves a thin layer of slickness, and the paint looks clean and glossy. It is not the right tool for a car caked in mud or thick winter salt, and we will say so before starting. In those cases we suggest a different approach. Most waterless visits take about an hour. Photos of the car help us judge it.

Brampton is dominated by detached and semi-detached homes with driveways and garages, plus many townhouse complexes and basement-apartment households with several cars on one driveway, along with some condo towers near Bramalea and downtown, so at-home detailing usually means a driveway.
Winter salt from Highway 410, 407 and 401 and slush on busy arterials like Queen Street and Steeles builds up on lower panels. Spring pollen and dust from new subdivisions and construction coat paint and windshields, and driveways can track mud into floor mats.
Brampton covers a large area, and a trip to a shop often means a long drive on the 410 or 401 and a wait without your car. Mobile detailing is practical because most homes have a driveway where we can set up.
We regularly work in Northgate, Brampton North and Huttonville, and every other part of Brampton.
