A Lucid Air is a rare car in the GTA and the owners we work with expect it to look like it did in the studio. The cabin is glass, leather, Alcantara and wood under a canopy roof that lets the sun onto everything, so we protect each surface with the product it needs and keep the headliner dry-brushed. The enormous frunk gets extracted like a trunk. Outside, the flush handles get cleaned out and the paint gets a careful polish and a ceramic coating.

What we watch for on a Air

• The Glass Canopy roof runs from the hood to the rear seats with no shade; a UV protectant on the leather and the Alcantara headliner needs dry brushing only
• The curved glass display and the retractable screen show fingerprints and dust; a screen-safe cleaner and a lint-free cloth
• The huge frunk gets used for luggage and groceries and its carpet shows it; we vacuum and extract it
• Light Santa Cruz leather shows dye transfer; gentle cleaning and conditioning
• Flush door handles present on approach and their recesses collect salt; we clean and dry them for winter

Electric vehicles: quiet, glassy and light on the engine bay

EVs have big glass roofs, minimal controls on screens, vegan leather and no engine bay to degrease. The work is mostly about glass clarity, screen-safe cleaning, paint protection and careful wheel and charge-port care.
