Car Detailing That Accepts Cash — Pay at Your Driveway, Receipt Included

Some people simply prefer cash: you know exactly what you've spent, there's no card statement to reconcile, and nothing needs to be set up. Auto Royale takes cash for any service, at the end of the job, in your driveway, condo garage or office lot anywhere in the GTA. You still get a proper receipt, and an itemized invoice if you want one for a claim or your records.

The one thing to know about cash with a mobile service is timing: you'll want the right amount ready before we arrive, especially for a 5 a.m. or midnight booking when the nearest bank machine is a drive away. We tell you the total when you book so that's easy.

How paying cash works

We quote the job when you text us the vehicle, the condition and the service, so you know the total before we start. When we're done you check the car, we count the cash together, and a receipt goes to your phone or email on the spot. If you'll need change, mention it in your booking text and we'll come prepared. There's nothing to hand over before we arrive and nothing to send in advance; you pay when the work is finished and you've seen it.

Cash does not mean no paperwork

Paying cash doesn't change what you get from us on paper. The receipt shows the date, the vehicle and the amount, and the itemized invoice, available on request, breaks the job into its parts: interior detail, pet hair removal, ozone treatment, whatever was done. Rideshare drivers use it for cleaning-fee reports in the Uber or Lyft app, small-business owners use it for their expense records, and anyone returning a lease keeps it as proof the car was professionally cleaned.

Who pays cash, and why

We see cash from people who budget in envelopes, from older customers who have paid that way their whole lives, from newcomers without a Canadian bank card yet, from teenagers paying for their first detail with birthday money, and from anyone who'd rather a detail not show up on a shared account. All of those are fine with us and none of them need an explanation.

Cash and late-night or early-morning bookings

Cash is easiest when the timing is planned. For an overnight or dawn booking, pull the amount out the day before rather than hunting for a bank machine at 2 a.m. in a residential neighbourhood. If you end up short on the day, it's not a problem: pay part in cash and the rest by debit tap, or send an e-Transfer for the balance once we text you the finished photos.

If you're booking for someone else and want to pay cash on their behalf, you'll need to be there at the end of the job, or leave the payment with them. Otherwise a card link or e-Transfer works from anywhere.
