A car wash should remove road film, salt and bugs without harming the paint. Drive-through tunnels are quick, but their spinning brushes and recycled water can leave fine swirls in clear coat. Our wash is done by hand, panel by panel, in Toronto. It is gentle, steady work, and it shows once the paint is dry.

We start with a rinse to loosen loose grit, then cover the car in foam so dirt softens before a mitt touches the paint. A clean wash mitt, fresh wash water and separate tools for wheels keep brake dust and road grime away from your paintwork.

How car wash works in Toronto

  1. Pre-rinse the car to lift loose dirt and salt
  2. Apply foam and let it dwell on the paint
  3. Clean wheels, tires and wheel wells with separate tools
  4. Hand wash panels top to bottom with a clean mitt
  5. Rinse thoroughly, then dry with microfibre
  6. Clean glass and dress the tires

What you get

After washing, we dry with soft microfibre towels or filtered air, never with a squeegee dragged across the paint. Windows are cleaned, door jambs get a wipe, and tires are cleaned so the finish looks consistent. It is a wash, but a considered one. Everything is rinsed and wiped so no soap film is left on glass or trim.

A wash is not the same as a detail. It will not remove bonded contamination, deep interior stains or swirl marks. If you drive past Swansea every day and the car feels rough after washing, a decontamination or polish is the next step, and we are happy to explain.

You do not have to go anywhere. We come to your driveway or garage in Toronto, bring our own water and power, and work at hours that suit you. Call or text with your vehicle and where it sits, and we will arrange a time.

Car Wash across Toronto

Old Toronto is a mix of downtown condo towers with underground garages, semi-detached and row houses with no driveway at all, and leafy streets in areas like Leaside and the Annex where cars sit on permit street parking, so we plan around a garage level, a laneway or a curb spot rather than assuming a driveway.

Heavy road salt and slush from November through March leave white film on lower panels, wheel wells and carpet mats, especially on cars parked outside on the street. Spring brings pollen and tree sap, and the lake air and downtown construction dust settle on paint all year.

Driving a car across downtown to a shop means congestion on the Gardiner or DVP, expensive parking and a long wait without your vehicle. A mobile detailer works at your condo garage, office lot or curb, so the car stays where you live and work.

Good to know

We regularly work in Swansea, Old Mill and Woodbine-Lumsden, and in every other part of Toronto.

Car Wash Toronto — FAQ

Do you use automatic brushes?
No. Every wash we do is by hand using wash mitts and microfibre, which is gentler on clear coat than tunnel brushes.
How is a car wash different from detailing?
A wash removes surface dirt. Detailing includes deeper cleaning, decontamination, polishing and protection, plus a full interior.
Can I get just an exterior wash in Toronto?
Yes. Many customers book only the exterior, and you can add the interior later if you wish.
How often should I wash my car in winter?
Every two weeks is a sensible rhythm when roads are salted. Rinsing salt off sooner helps protect the paint, the wheels and the undercarriage.
Do you wash the underside?
We rinse wheel wells and accessible lower areas. A full undercarriage flush needs equipment we do not carry.
What if there is no outdoor tap at my address?
No problem. We carry our own water and power, so you do not need a hose connection.
How do you handle a car that has been parked on the street all winter?
We start with a foam wash and iron decontamination to lift salt and road film, then clean wheel wells and door jambs. Inside, we extract salt stains from carpets and mats. How much comes out depends on how long the salt has been sitting.
Can you detail a leased car before I return it in Toronto?
Yes. We clean the interior and exterior, remove stains and light marks, and can polish out minor swirls so the car presents well at inspection. We cannot promise a particular inspection result, but a thorough detail helps.
Can I get a quote by sending photos?
Yes. Text us a few photos of the interior and exterior in good light and tell us what bothers you most, and we can scope the work with you before booking.
Can you detail my car for my wedding day?
Yes. We time it for the morning of and finish before the photos. Details are on our car detailing for weddings page.
Do you clean spit-up and formula from baby car seats?
We do. Formula and milk sour quickly, so we lift the residue from the straps, shell and seat underneath, then treat the smell at the source.
Play-dough got ground into the carpet. Is it fixable?
Usually, with patience. We break it up, lift it and extract the carpet, and kids' craft mess is a regular request for us.
