Itemized invoices with every service listed, in your name or your business name, for claims, expenses, lease returns and records.
A handwritten total on a business card isn't much use when you're filing a cleaning-fee report, expensing a company car or proving to a leasing inspector that the interior was professionally cleaned. Auto Royale provides an itemized invoice on request for every job, listing exactly what was done, on which vehicle, when, where and for how much, sent to you by email or text.
This page explains what's on the invoice, who tends to need one, and what to tell us when you book so it's right the first time. It applies to every service we do, from a 45-minute express wash in a condo garage to a full-day ceramic coating in your driveway.
Our invoice is itemized, which means each service is its own line rather than one lump sum. A typical rideshare clean-up would list the rear seat shampoo and extraction, the carpet extraction, the enzyme treatment and the ozone treatment separately. A business detail might list the interior detail, the exterior wash and the sealant. Alongside the services you'll see the date and time, the vehicle's year, make, model and plate, the address where the work was done, the total and how it was paid.
Uber and Lyft drivers report rider messes through their driver apps with photos and a description. Both platforms allow supporting documentation, and an invoice from a professional cleaner is the standard thing to attach. Ours is built with that in mind, which is why the vehicle, the time and the specific services are spelled out. The platform makes its own decision on any fee; the invoice simply shows what the clean-up involved.
Realtors, sales reps, contractors, mobile service businesses and anyone who claims vehicle expenses need a record that shows the business purpose and the cost. We issue the invoice in the business name if you ask, send it to your bookkeeper's email directly if you prefer, and for fleets we list every vehicle by unit number or plate on one invoice. Whether a detail is deductible, and how, is between you and your accountant; our job is to make the paperwork clean.
Lease inspectors look for stains, smells and wear, and a dated invoice showing a professional interior detail before the return is useful to have in the folder with your other records. Private sellers show it to buyers on Facebook Marketplace or AutoTrader as evidence the car was cared for, and it answers the question every buyer asks about a smell-free interior: what was actually done to it.
Tell us when you book, or afterwards, that you'd like an invoice, and give us the name to put on it and the email or phone number to send it to. If you need it to show particular things, such as the plate or a purchase order number, say so. We can also reissue an invoice from a past visit; text us the date and the vehicle.
Typical time: The invoice is sent by email or text the same day as the detail, usually as soon as payment is made.
