Detailing is a broad word, so it helps to split it into levels. At the lightest end is maintenance: a careful wash and tidy-up that keeps a clean car clean. Next comes a deep clean, which tackles built-up grime. Above that are restoration jobs, such as polishing faded paint, and finally protection, such as sealant or ceramic coating.

If you are not sure where your car sits, ask yourself a few questions. Can you feel roughness on the paint after washing? Are the carpets stained or smelly? Are the headlights cloudy? Each answer points toward a different level of detailing, and we can talk it through by text before we ever show up in Toronto.

How detailing works in Toronto

  1. Describe the car and what you want to change
  2. We suggest a detailing level: maintenance, deep clean, restoration or protection
  3. We confirm timing and where the car will be parked
  4. We arrive with water, power and all equipment
  5. Interior and exterior work is carried out in a set order
  6. We check the result with you and note a maintenance schedule

What you get

Most people start with a deep clean because it makes the biggest visible difference. Seats, carpets and plastics get a proper treatment, while the exterior gets a hand wash and a layer of protection. From there, adding polishing or coating is a choice about how long you plan to keep the car.

Our approach is mobile. We drive to Church-Wellesley Village, Corktown, Deer Park and everywhere else in Toronto, bringing water, power and professional-grade products. There is no shop visit and no need to arrange a lift home. You keep your day; the car gets the work. Our crew travels light but fully equipped, which keeps the visit calm and efficient.

We work around the clock, so detailing can happen early, late or on a weekend. Tell us the vehicle, where it is parked and what frustrates you most. We will explain what each level involves and what you can realistically expect when we finish. Ask any questions before you commit; a quick text is all it takes.

Detailing across Toronto

Old Toronto is a mix of downtown condo towers with underground garages, semi-detached and row houses with no driveway at all, and leafy streets in areas like Leaside and the Annex where cars sit on permit street parking, so we plan around a garage level, a laneway or a curb spot rather than assuming a driveway.

Heavy road salt and slush from November through March leave white film on lower panels, wheel wells and carpet mats, especially on cars parked outside on the street. Spring brings pollen and tree sap, and the lake air and downtown construction dust settle on paint all year.

Driving a car across downtown to a shop means congestion on the Gardiner or DVP, expensive parking and a long wait without your vehicle. A mobile detailer works at your condo garage, office lot or curb, so the car stays where you live and work.

Good to know

We regularly work in Church-Wellesley Village, Corktown and Deer Park, and in every other part of Toronto.

Detailing Toronto — FAQ

What does detailing mean?
It is deep, methodical cleaning, restoring and protecting of a vehicle's interior and exterior, going well beyond a standard wash and vacuum.
Which detailing level do I need?
If the car is fairly clean, a maintenance detail is enough. If dirt, stains or smells have built up, choose a deep clean. Text us photos and we will point you to the right one.
Does detailing remove scratches?
It can remove light swirls and fine marks through polishing. Deep scratches that catch a fingernail usually cannot be fully removed without repainting.
How long does the result last?
It depends on use and protection. Interiors hold up as long as you keep them tidy, while sealant protects paint for months and ceramic coating lasts longer.
Is detailing worth it for an older car?
Often yes. A proper detail can freshen an older vehicle, slow down wear on paint and plastics, and help with resale or trade-in.
Can you detail at my workplace in Toronto?
Yes, provided the parking lot allows it. We work quietly, bring everything we need, and many customers book while they are in the office.
How do you handle a car that has been parked on the street all winter?
We start with a foam wash and iron decontamination to lift salt and road film, then clean wheel wells and door jambs. Inside, we extract salt stains from carpets and mats. How much comes out depends on how long the salt has been sitting.
Can you detail a leased car before I return it in Toronto?
Yes. We clean the interior and exterior, remove stains and light marks, and can polish out minor swirls so the car presents well at inspection. We cannot promise a particular inspection result, but a thorough detail helps.
How long does an interior detail take?
Plan on about one and a half to three hours. Pet hair, heavy stains or a third row can push that longer. Details are on our interior detailing page.
How long after ceramic coating can I wash my car?
Most coatings need a few days to a week of staying dry and clean before the first wash. We give you specific instructions for the product we used. Details are on our ceramic coating page.
Can you fix burns or tears in upholstery?
No. Burns and tears need an upholstery shop. We clean what remains.
What makes a detail professional rather than a quick wash?
A professional detail follows a sequence: decontamination, proper tools, product matched to the surface, and attention to jambs and crevices. Our full detail is built that way.
