Car Detailing With No Water Access: We Bring Water and Power

Plenty of people in the GTA would love a detail but assume it cannot happen where they park. There is no hose on a condo visitor level, no outlet beside a street spot in the Annex, and the property manager of your office lot in North York has never said yes to anything. None of that stops us.

Auto Royale's van carries its own fresh water, its own power for vacuums, steamers and polishers, and battery lighting for dark garages. Where a building bans runoff entirely, we switch to rinseless washing, which cleans paint safely with a bucket and a stack of microfibre towels and leaves the floor dry. You provide the car and a place to park it; everything else arrives with us.

What is in the van so you don't need anything

Our setup is built around the assumption that the location gives us nothing. The water tank covers a full exterior wash and feeds the hot-water extractor for carpets and seats. Onboard power runs the vacuum, steamer and polisher without an extension cord to your garage. Work lights clip to the roof rack or stand on tripods so a dim P3 level looks like a shop bay.

Rinseless washing in garages that forbid runoff

Most condo corporations in Toronto and Mississauga prohibit washing in the garage because the drains are not meant for soap. Rinseless washing solves that. A litre or two of water with a polymer-rich solution is applied panel by panel with plush towels that lift grit away from the paint rather than dragging it. No foam, no rinse, nothing running down the ramp. It is safe on clear coat when done with clean towels and a one-pass technique, which is how we do it.

For a car that is caked in winter salt, we may recommend doing the exterior on the street or in your driveway on a different visit, since heavy grit is better pre-rinsed. Interiors have no such limit; a complete interior detail with steam and extraction happens anywhere.

Locations we work in every week

Underground condo parking is the most common, followed by surface lots at apartment buildings, office and industrial lots, hospital staff parking during a shift, and street parking in older neighbourhoods where the house has no driveway. The main things we need are a spot for our van within reach of your car and permission from whoever controls the space. If your building requires notice to security or a visitor pass, text us the details and we handle the check-in.

How to book when you have no water or power

Tell us where the car is parked, what level or section, whether runoff is allowed, and how much light there is. That is enough for us to pick the method before we arrive. Night and early-morning slots are popular for garage work because the space is quiet, and we are open 24/7 for exactly that reason.
