What we watch for on a GT

• Exposed carbon fibre panels and stripes have a clear coat that swirls and can be polished, but only with a fine finishing polish and low pressure
• Liquid Blue, Liquid Grey and other multi-layer paints are expensive to repaint, so we use only a pH-neutral rinseless or foam wash with fresh towels on every panel
• The low nose and the carbon splitter catch bugs and road tar; we soften them with a bug remover before any contact to avoid scratching
• Alcantara on the seats and wheel needs a dedicated Alcantara cleaner and a soft brush, never conditioners that mat the fibres
• Cars that sit in storage benefit from a light wipe-down and interior air-out rather than a full wash each time
