The Edge was built in Oakville for years, so it is everywhere in the western GTA and many owners have a soft spot for it. Most of the ones we see are family haulers with a well-used cargo area and a console that has lost its shine. • Piano-black centre console on second-generation cars is a magnet for fine scratches and fingerprints; we polish it carefully and recommend a quick microfibre wipe between details
• First-generation Edges often have hazy headlights and faded black lower cladding; restoring both makes a big visual difference for little effort
• The Vista Roof has a long sliding shade that collects dust in its track and a large glass area that needs a residue-free glass cleaner
• ST models have 20–21 inch wheels and performance brakes that leave heavy dust; a dedicated iron remover saves a lot of scrubbing
