The GV70 is the Genesis most GTA families actually buy, and it combines quilted Nappa leather that traps grime in its stitching with a panoramic roof that spots in Lake Ontario humidity. The leather gets a soft brush with the cleaner, the roof gets sealed with the paint. On the Electrified version the charge port hides behind the grille badge, and its seal needs wiping. Matte-painted cars get matte-safe products only, and gloss cars get a polish and coating.

What we watch for on a GV70

• Quilted Nappa seats on upper trims hold dirt in their stitching and are cleaned with a soft brush and conditioned afterwards
• The Electrified GV70's charge port hides behind the grille emblem and its seal needs wiping
• The 21-inch wheels on Sport trims have thin spokes and deep barrels that hold brake dust and need a long brush
• Matte paint options need matte-safe products, never wax or polish
• The large glass roof panel collects water spots and tree sap and gets the same decontamination and sealant as the paint
