Detailing your Maserati Ghibli

The Ghibli is the Maserati that Vaughan business owners lease, and the cabin often has natural leather and silk inserts that cannot take ordinary cleaners. What we watch for on a Ghibli

• Zegna silk inserts in the seats and door panels cannot be wet cleaned; we vacuum them with a soft brush and spot treat with minimal moisture
• Pieno Fiore natural leather is barely coated and absorbs denim dye and hand oils; we clean it gently with a foaming product and condition it, and recommend a protectant
• Maserati clear coat is soft and tri-coat Rosso and Blu Emozione are expensive to repaint, so we correct lightly and coat
• Twenty and twenty-one-inch wheels with big Brembo brakes bake dust into the barrels; an iron remover and a long brush are needed every wash
• The chrome trident grille and the side vents collect bugs and grit; foam and a soft brush clean them without scratching

Luxury cars: soft paint, delicate trim

Premium interiors use more leather, open-pore wood and gloss trim, and premium paint is often softer. We use gentler chemistry, soft microfibre and slower machine passes so nothing is marred.
