Detailing your Chevrolet Bolt EV

The Bolt was the affordable EV for a lot of GTA families and Uber drivers, and the light interiors Chevrolet fitted were not designed for Toronto winters. Our job is usually to bring that grey and white cabin back to how it looked on delivery: leatherette cleaned, cloth extracted, white plastics carefully polished. The hatch is small and quick to do, and with no exhaust or engine heat the exterior gets a full wash, decontamination and sealant in your driveway.

What we watch for on a Bolt EV

• Light grey and white interiors are common on Bolts and they show dirt from boots and dye from jeans; a gentle cleaner on the leatherette and extraction on the cloth keep them bright
• Glossy white and silver dash plastics on early cars scratch easily, so we avoid any abrasive cleaner on them
• The flat floor and tall roof make the Bolt popular with rideshare drivers, so rear seats and floor mats get sanitized and extracted
• Battery-recall cars from the 2017–2022 run spent time at dealers and often came back with greasy fingerprints on the doors and seats
• Aerodynamic wheels with flat spoke faces trap brake dust in narrow gaps; a thin brush cleans behind the spokes
