Vacuum, steam, shampoo and extraction, leather care, vents, jambs and glass — the whole cabin reset at your door.
An interior detail is the difference between a car that looks tidy from the driver's seat and one that is actually clean once you lift the floor mats, slide the seats forward and run a finger along the vents. Auto Royale brings the full interior process to your driveway, condo garage or office lot anywhere in the Greater Toronto Area, with our own power, water and professional-grade equipment on the van.
Most quick interior cleans stop at a vacuum and a wipe. That leaves the things that actually make a cabin feel old: grit ground into the carpet backing, body oils on the seat bolsters, dust packed into the vent louvres, and the film on the inside of the windshield that only shows up driving into low sun on the 401. We work through each of those in order, with the right tool for each surface.
We pull the floor mats and anything loose, then do a first vacuum pass with crevice tools to clear the seat tracks, under the seats and the console gaps. Compressed air pushes crumbs out of the spots a nozzle cannot reach, like the seat belt buckles and the slot between the console and the seats.
Then the wet work. Carpets and cloth seats are pre-treated, agitated with a drill brush and extracted with hot water so the soil comes out instead of being pushed deeper. Leather gets a pH-neutral cleaner, a soft brush and conditioner. Hard surfaces are steamed and wiped so nothing is left greasy, and the door jambs, sills and trunk get the same attention as the front seats.
From November to April every trip into the car brings road salt in on your boots. It dries to a white crust on the mats and wicks into the carpet underneath, where the padding holds moisture long after the surface looks dry. Park in a humid condo underground garage and you get the musty smell people notice in spring.
Summer has its own list: sunscreen on the door panels, pollen in the vents, iced-coffee rings in the cup holders and the fine black grime from construction that settles on everything. An interior detail resets all of it at once instead of chasing one problem at a time.
A typical interior detail takes 1.5 to 3 hours. Minivans, three-row SUVs and cars with heavy pet hair, sand or salt staining sit at the longer end. We need the car parked where we can open all four doors and the trunk; a driveway, a condo garage spot or a quiet street spot all work.
Carpets and seats will be slightly damp when we finish. On a warm day they dry within a few hours; in winter, cracking the windows in the garage or running the heat on your first drive takes care of it. The dash, glass and leather are ready to use immediately.
If you have one isolated problem, we offer it on its own: carpet shampoo for salt and mud, upholstery cleaning for stained seats, leather cleaning for dye transfer, odour removal for smoke or spills, pet hair removal for the dog's cargo area. If two or more of those are on your list, the interior detail is usually the better booking because the whole cabin gets done in one visit.
Typical time: Most interior details take 1.5 to 3 hours; three-row SUVs, minivans and heavily soiled cabins can take longer.
