What we watch for on a Silverado EV

• The midgate seals and the rear seat folding mechanism collect grit and salt where the cab meets the bed; we clean the seals so the cab stays dry and quiet
• The eTrunk frunk under the hood is used as a cooler and a toolbox; we rinse and dry it along with its rubber mat
• The fixed glass roof on RST has no shade, so the dash and seats take sun; a UV protectant on the dash and leatherette is worth it
• The painted front fascia has no grille openings and chips from highway debris; polish and a sealant protect it
• Heavy battery weight means heavy brake dust and tire wear; wheels and wells get an iron remover and a thorough rinse
